Does anyone know what kind of accuracy you can expect from theses particular pieces fitted with this Calibre from IWC. Are these good quality movements? Has anyone had any issues? That’s well within spec for IWC’s ubiquitous 35111 Calibre (a modified ETA 2892), but I hoped for better. As for the date window bedeviling pilot watch purists, I’ll simply say it’s the perfect size, shape and position to be completely ignored.

Can someone confirm you have seen real IWC movements without any finishing other than engraving of the proper marks? I bought this Portofino from a local dealer with very good reputation, but only watch with no papers.
